Terms of Service
Last updated: April 10, 2026
1. Services
Compass Rose Air is a private jet charter brokerage. We arrange charter flights between clients and FAA-certified charter operators. We are not an air carrier and do not own or operate aircraft. All flights are operated by FAA Part 135 certified air carriers who maintain full operational control of aircraft at all times.
2. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are estimates based on current market rates, aircraft availability, and the information you provide. Quotes are valid for 24 hours unless otherwise stated. Final pricing is confirmed at the time of booking and may differ from the initial quote based on changes in availability, positioning requirements, or trip details. All prices are all-inclusive unless otherwise noted.
3. Bookings and Payments
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a signed charter agreement and full payment. Payment is due in full at the time of booking. We accept wire transfers, credit cards (3% surcharge applies), and ACH payments. No flight will be dispatched without confirmed payment.
4. Cancellations
Cancellation terms vary by operator and trip type. Standard cancellation terms are:
- More than 7 days before departure: Full refund minus 10% handling fee
- 3-7 days before departure: 50% refund
- Less than 3 days before departure: No refund
- Weather-related cancellations: Rescheduled at no additional cost, or full refund if unable to reschedule
Specific cancellation terms for your booking will be outlined in your charter agreement.
5. Liability
Compass Rose Air acts solely as a broker and is not liable for delays, cancellations, or incidents caused by the air carrier, weather, air traffic control, or other factors outside our control. The air carrier assumes all liability for the safe operation of the flight as required by FAA Part 135 regulations. We carry errors and omissions insurance for our brokerage services.
6. Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate passenger information and weights
- Arriving at the FBO at the agreed-upon time
- Complying with all FAA regulations and crew instructions
- Behaving in a manner that does not endanger the flight or other passengers
- Disclosing any hazardous materials in baggage
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Las Vegas, Nevada, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Nevada law governs these terms and any disputes hereunder.
